What to wear to a Bridal Shower? 

There are no formal guidelines but best to depend on the invitation and venue to guide the formality level. Some ideas, choose a pastel look for a backyard garden fête or wear cocktail attire for a more formal event at a hotel or restaurant venue.  Do dress up, it is a celebration, don't wear black or white, you can expect the bride to be in white.

The standard amount to spend on a bridal shower gift is around $50-$100. If you're invited to a bridal shower but not particularly close with the bride, expect to spend at least $25. Regular friends, co-workers, or distant family members should consider spending up to $75-$100.
